Godfather of no wave filmmaking Amos Poe has joined the Exquisite Corpse 8mm film project. Director of the punk classic The Blank Generation starring Richard Hell and more recent films such as Empire II - a sequel of sorts to Warhols epic eight hour experiment has joined what has quickly become a who's who project of experimental and international filmmakers that includes Jonas Mekas, Bill Morrison, Nina Menkes, Dean Fernanado among others.

The non profit film is being completely crowdfunded through kickstarter and has almost reached its projected budget of $5,000 but needs your help to clear the finish line! So forgo that dvd purchase or Friday night movie ticket and become a producer! This is your chance to do something about the state of film art in America and take part in something truly special.

In a related note Subvex Film Collective has become content programmers for a HD screen in Manhattan on sixth avenue that will be displaying portions of the completed project as well as various other experiments by the collective.
